* Registered Veterinary Technician:  Position Filled

* Client Care Representative:  Position Filled

Position includes greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, invoicing, and some clerical duties.  Strong computer skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment a must.  Must be cheerful, friendly, and outgoing. 

Note that position entails cross-training to other positions within the hospital, and that employee should expect to fill some patient care representative and kennel duties as well (see description below).

Full and part time opportunities.  Flexible availability is preferred as evening and weekend shifts are required.

* Patient Care Representative:  Position Filled

Position includes greeting clients, working with the doctors and patients in the exam rooms, taking histories, obtaining samples, and entering data into the computer.  Strong computer and client service skills a must.  Must be friendly and outgoing, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Note that position entails cross-training to other positions within the hospital, and that employee should expect to fill some client care representative and kennel duties as well (see description above and below).

* Administrative Assistant:  Position Filled

Position involves various clerical duties.  Full knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a must, as are organizational skills and attention to detail.  Full or part time opportunities available.  Saturday hours required. 

Minimum education requirements:  Bachelor's degree or some college education preferred.

* Veterinary Assistant:  Position Filled

Position includes assisting the doctors and nursing staff with day to day duties, including but not limited to:  assisting in the care of hospitalized patients, various hospital cleaning duties, assisting with x-rays, cleaning surgical instruments and preparing surgical packs, interacting with clients and patients in a professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable manner.

Experience preferred, but on the job training will be provided.  Excellent and professional client service skills are required.

Full and part time opportunities are available.  Flexible availability is preferred.  Every other Saturday shifts are required.

A weekend rotation caring for hospitalized and/or boarding patients is also required. (Saturday and Sunday hours, at least once monthly)

Minimum education requirements:  High school diploma.

* Patient Care Attendant:  Position Filled

Position involves caring for our boarding patients and general cleaning and upkeep of the hospital, including but not limited to:  walking, feeding, medicating, and bathing our boarding patients, completing daily/weekly/monthly cleaning tasks, and assisting the doctors and nursing staff as needed.

Great care and compassion for animals is required, as are professional client service skills, attention to detail, and pride in a clean and organized work area.

Part time opportunities are available.  Flexible availability is preferred.  Every other weekend, Saturday, and Sunday hours are required.


* Housekeeping Position:  Position Filled

Position involves cleaning and maintenance throughout the hospital, including the kennel.  Part time opportunities available.  Flexible availablity preferred, as morning, evening, and weekend shifts are required. 

Minimum education requirements:  High school diploma.


* Volunteer Opportunities:

A limited number of volunteer positions are available.  These positions are designed primarily to help high school and college students who are considering a career in veterinary medicine gain valuable experience working in an animal hospital. 

Interested individuals must be at least 15 years of age, and must submit an employment application to be considered for the position.  Weekend hours are generally required.  Volunteer positions are finite in length with no guarentee of permanent employment, though that opportunity exists for qualified participants.
