About Us

Dr. Julie Morris
Dr. Julie was born and raised in South Bend. She graduated from Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine and she completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Auburn University. Dr. Julie's special interest area is animal behavior.
Ongoing Education . . . Dr. Julie attended the North American Veterinary Conference in Orlando, Florida in January, 2011 and learned the latest techniques and information regarding pet behavior problem management, internal medicine, and radiology. She also attended the annual meeting of the American Animal Hospital Association in Long Beach, California, in March, 2010. Her studies there focused on pet behavior issues, ophthalmology, and client care. Dr. Julie is a member of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior.

Dr. Douglas Morris
Dr. Doug grew up in the St. Louis area. He graduated from the University of Missouri's College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Auburn University. Dr. Doug's special interest areas are general and orthopedic surgery, as well as diseases and surgery of the ear. He is a member of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society. Dr. Doug was awarded the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association Certificate of Excellence for Accomplishment in Continuing Education in 2010.
Ongoing Education . . . Dr. Doug attended the American College of Veterinary Surgeons annual meeting in Chicago in October, 2011. He also attended the annual meeting of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society in Breckenridge, Colorado in February, 2010. During these conferences, he participated in meetings covering a wide array of orthopedic and soft tissue surgery topics. Dr. Doug is certified to perform PennHIP radiographic evaluations. PennHIP provides a more accurate means of evaluating dogs and cats for the presence of hip dysplasia than the OFA technique.
Dr. Doug is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA program at the University of Notre Dame, and will graduate in 2013.

Dr. Terry Randolph
Dr. Terry grew up in central Ohio. She earned her veterinary degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University and joined Morris Animal Hospital in 1998. Dr. Terry's special interest areas are advanced dentistry and endodontics.
Ongoing Education . . . Dr. Terry attended the annual Indiana Veterinary Medical Association meeting in Indianapolis in February, 2011 where she focused on new information relating to infectious disease, dentistry, and emergency medicine. She also attended the Midwest Veterinary Conference in Columbus, Ohio in February, 2010, attending seminars on internal and emergency medicine. Dr. Terry is a member of the Veterinary Dental Society.

Dr. Amanda Cunningham
Dr. Amanda was born and raised in southwest Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and joined Morris Animal Hospital in 2006. Dr. Amanda's special interest areas are soft tissue surgery, oncology and emergency medicine.
Ongoing Education . . . Dr. Amanda attended the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society's annual meeting in Nashville, TN in September, 2011. Her meetings focused on critical care, soft tissue surgery, and leadership training. She also attended the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association meeting in February, 2010, with a focus on internal medicine, radiology, and ophthalmology. |

Dr. Gayle O'Konski
Dr. Gayle was born and raised in southwest Michigan. She worked at Morris Animal Hospital for several years as both a client care representative and a patient care representative before she attended veterinary school at Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined our doctor team in 2007. Dr. Gayle's special interest areas are nutrition and healthy weight management, oncology, and soft tissue surgery.
Ongoing Education . . . Dr. Gayle attended the annual Indiana Veterinary Medical Association meeting in Indianapolis in February, 2011, where she attended a variety of meetings focusing on infectious disease, pain management, toxicology, and emergency medicine. She also attended the Midwest Veterinary Conference in Columbus, Ohio in February, 2010, focusing on internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery.

Dr. Robert Memmen
Dr. Rob grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis. He completed his veterinary training at the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine and joined Morris Animal Hospital in 2010. His interests include general medicine and surgery.
Ongoing Education . . . Dr Rob attended the Central Veterinary Conference in Kansas City, Missouri in August, 2011, where he attended meetings with a focus on internal medicine, general surgery, and dentistry. |
